I have had neck and back pain consistently for the past 4 years, the pain starts in between my head and neck. It starts as a tingling pain the goes into my lower shoulder blade. When it gets worse it feels like shocks are going through my back, and then I get a burning sensation. My left side of my back seems to have less feeling than before. I also have joint pain problems (ankles,knees,hips,wrists). What kind of doctor would be best to treat this kind of problem?

Please start with your Family Physician - for evaluation -- diagnostic imaging with x-ray and perhaps CT or MRI scanning is essential. Then, next steps -- Physiatrist / Physical Therapist / Chiropractic Doctor -- it seems that a spinal anatomical disorder exists - so diagnostic imaging is essential first.
