Q: What got you into this specific medical field?
A: Family history of health care providers. An affinity toward dental services received at a young age.
 
Q: What landed you in your city, and what is it that you like about the neighborhood?
A: Smaller community outside the metropolitan Detroit area.
 
Q: Where did you receive your undergraduate and professional degrees, and did you participate in any residencies?
A: The University of Michigan (undergraduate) BA in Biology
The University of Detroit Dental School
 
Q: Do you belong to any professional associations?
A: American Dental Association and Michigan Dental Association
 
Q: What year did you begin practicing?
A: 1987
 
Q: What investments in your practice equipment and facilities have you made?
A: Most of the high tech equipment available including CEREC, Lasers, Digital Imaging (not Cone Beam), paperless practice management software.
 
Q: What procedures do you feel your practice excels in above others?
A: Esthetic ceramic restorations, and oral surgical treatments that include implant placement and restoration, and prosthetic tooth replacement (dentures).
 
Q: What are your office hours?
A: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8AM-4PM (lunch 1-2PM), Tuesday 8AM-6PM
 
Q: What HMO or PPO providers are you in network with? Do you offer financing?
A: Michigan Healthy Kids Network, Delta Preferred Provider. Financing through CareCredit and 'in-house' financing called compassionate dental financing.
 
Q: Do you accept any government programs or discount cards?
A: The Michigan Healthy Kids program is a state assistance program that is administered by Delta Dental.
 
Q: What are the most challenging parts of your everyday practice?
A: Managing the acceptance of the dental health needs of the patients due to the restrictive third party (insurance) payors and high cost of medical care.
 
Q: What are the best moments that make it worthwhile?
A: Satisfying patient needs particularly with esthetic restorations including the use of CAD/CAM (CEREC) procedures.
