Histologic section show gallbladder tissue with a fibromuscular wall lined by tall columnar epithelium. The underlying stroma shows lymphocytes, occasional eosinophils and plasma cells.. Muscle wall hypertrophy with several Rokitansky-Aschoff sinuses is seen. There are thick-walled, congested blood vessels noted within the wall. Doctor, could you please explain to me the result of my biopsy since I could not understand all of these medical terms stated above. Thank you very much.
