"Dr. Brockman, is an incredibly intelligent and caring practitioner. After a high speed bike crash I struggled from chronic pain and poor mechanics. As a professional athlete I rely on my body to perform at a high level to pay my bills. After 3 short months of treatment I can honestly say I'm healthy as ever and rebuilding my fitness to compete with the worlds best. "
"Both Dr. Brockman and Dr. Nathan are amazing! "

Based on the symptoms and location of your pain you have ensure that you are completely healthy before you assume that this is a muscle problem. Your first step is to go to your medical doctor and to rule out any heart problems. Next, you need to consider both shoulder and neck issues. A chiropractor would be a great starting point to begin the road to fix shoulder and neck problems. However, one item that I find is often overlooked in patients that take statin drugs is a deficiency in a vitamin called coenzyme Q 10. Coenzyme Q 10 is required for your body to turn the food you eat into energy. If you cannot make energy from the food you eat then you will get widespread muscle pain that you are describing. An easy remedy for you would be to try to supplement your diet with at least 300 mg of coenzyme Q 10 per day. Recent Studies have demonstrated that patients that are taking statin drugs and are experiencing muscle pain can experience relief when they supplement with coenzyme Q 10.
