Paula J. Kruppstadt MD PA - Hope for Healing
Practicing since 1990
HI there,
It's difficult to see all of the rash from the picture, but it appears that the pigment in your skin is decreasing (not just simple acne). If the pigment is going away, it is most likely something called vitiligo. Vitiligo is loss of the pigment, melanin, in the skin. It is usually an autoimmune condition and you should be evaluated. Cleaning up your diet from inflammatory things, having your thyroid evaluated, and seeing a doctor familiar with something called "methylation" is important. Have your homocysteine level checked, too! I hope this helps!
