There could be an eye infection, whether it be allergic, bacterial, or viral causing eye - which may or may not be related to the headache. Sinusitis, particularly frontal sinus on left side could also cause these symptoms. Temporal arteritis can also cause - eye pain and a headache. Even a stroke or transient ischemic attack can mimick these 2 symptoms. Clinically you need to be examined to make sure you have no vision loss, and have a fundascopic eye exam.
