Is it too risky to have a baby when I have a heart murmur, a bicuspid valve, and an abdominal aortic aneurysm?
Anonymous Patient
It depends. Mostly on the size of the aneurysm and if there are any problems with the bicuspid valve. You certainly need to see your cardiologist to assess these things and get advice about the risks when considering it. In some cases c-section is recommended for delivery to make things safer for you, especially with an aneurysm. Bottom line is you should get a full evaluation before becoming pregnant.
