Average Response Time: Very Good

The inactivated (injectable) flu vaccine is definitely recommended by all the public health (CDC) and professional organizations of physicians for all pregnant women. In recent years, the H1N1 flu strain has hit pregnant women worse than most other groups (severe cases and deaths). The vaccines produced without preservatives may be safer for you. With all medical interventions, you should, of course, check in with your own obstetrician, but I do not see any reason for waiting any longer.
