"Dr. St. John is very interested in your current mental health situation. She takes the time to ask questions and probe to try to understand the issue(s) so that she can figure out what the best regimen would be for your particular case. The visit can be as long or as short as you need it to be. Follow up visits for me are usually around 5-10 minutes when I have no issues. At my last appointment, I had an issue so the visit was about 10 minutes longer than my usual followup. The Doctor is rarely on time even with early appointments, hence the 'long' or 'short' appointments that are needed by each individual patient. However, I have rarely ever waited more than 30 minutes past my appointment time. The usual wait is around 10-15 minutes. "
