Directions

My friend is experiencing chest pains and yesterday while having that pain had numbness in his left arm. He refuses to see a doctor but I am worried it can be serious. He is only 15 years of age. Is this something to get checked out immediately?

It will be helpful to know if you have any other symptoms like fever, chills, night sweats, cough, or shortness of breath. Chest pain is a 19 year old without history of heart disease is usually due to viral infections, musculoskeletal strain, rarely due to pleurisy or pericarditis. See your Dr to get an xray if the pain persists. In the meantime take Ibuprofen 600mg every 6 hours as needed.
