Open heart surgery scar
I am having a open heart surgery and I am worried about the scar. Will a plastic surgery erase the scar completely ?

Plastic surgery is rarely done for median sternotomty scars. Any scar takes about two years to mature. At that time you can consult with a plastic surgeon if you desire but we rarely revise these scars.
