Does my daughter need to be seen right away for a chipped tooth?

My daughter is 6 years old and fell and has an ever so slight chip on her top front tooth... right on the edge. Should she be seen?

I would recommend that your daughter be seen. There may be trauma or root exposure even though it only looks like a small chip. It is better to have a professional take a look at the tooth, and it will also put you at ease to know what is going on exactly with the tooth.
