Sounds like a normal response to injury in that area. You formed a hematoma, and the body will gradually absorb it. Sometimes the tibia bone will even form a little bony bump in that area (called heterotopic ossification) and the bump could take many months even a year or more to resolve. The tests you had should rule out any of the major concerns such as fracture or venous blood clot. Unless it's getting larger or more painful over time, just wait it out.
