Best advice to reduce swelling after lip lift surgery?

Usually there is some swelling to be expected after lip surgery. Elevation of the head of the bed while sleeping, cold compresses, limited talking or chewing and time usually allow for resolution of the swelling.
Check with your surgeon for any additional suggestions.
