I'd strongly consider allergy testing by an allergist, preferably skin testing. With that story, you may be headed for allergy shots or the new FDA-approved sublingual (under the tongue) treatment. Either would literally vaccinate to any allergens that are causative.
But testing is the first step. If testing is positive, and matches your family's symptoms on the calendar, allergy shots (also known as immunotherapy) have a 95% success rate, and treat the cause of the symptoms, instead of treating symptoms only.
If testing is negative, your allergist may still be able to help.
