    "I've experienced excellent care and treatment with Dr. Meyer at Body Focus! With my diagnosis of spinal stenosis, I thought my running career was over and that my back/hip pain was something I'd have to deal with for the rest of my life - and that it would only get worse. Dr. Meyer did not promise any magic remedy or overnight cure, but the in-office adjustments and home exercises he prescribed worked wonders! It was my job to stay consistent with the exercises and stretching at home, along with easing back on the running for a period of time. The course of treatment is going so well! I'm back to running and have virtually no symptoms of the stenosis... I am so happy! Thank you to Dr. Meyer and Body Focus for the personal attention and support."

Muscle spasm

I have several herniated discs. I am on muscle relaxers for them. Usually it works for the muscle spasms I have. I have been up for 2 and a half hours and it will not go away. It is on the right side of my back under my ribs. I have tried everything. And they really hurt. Would it be a waste of time to go to the e.r? I don't know what else to do.

The ER is a great safety net in cases of unbearable pain. Without knowing more about your health history and your age, it's difficult to give you much advice. I would visit a chiropractor for an evaluation tomorrow. Be sure to bring any x-rays and MRI images you have so they can view them and discuss with you. Good luck and hope you feel better quick.
