Exit 205 West bound off I-75 (Clark Rd.). Clark turns into Stickney Point Rd and the office is located directly across the street from the Stickney Point Fire Station #11. The flashing yellow light pole is directly in front of the office's front door. So look for the yellow flashing light and take a right immediately and another right into the parking lot. If coming from Siesta Key, come over the South bridge and take a left on 41, prepare to turn right just past McDonalds on Couver St. Take couver almost to the end and the dental office will be on your left - a brown brick building. You can not turn in directly from Stickney Point when coming from Siesta Key because it is an illegal turn. So follow the directions using Couver St.

Why is my orthodontist pulling my teeth after my braces are put on?

Most patients and orthodontists hesitate to pull teeth as part of initial orthodontic treatment unless it is very obvious there is not enough room. Quite often, the orthodonist recommends the extractions initially and the patient or their parent refuses extractions. The usually come to an agreement to start orthodontic treatment with the knowledge that extractions may still be necessary. Sometimes they are and sometimes they aren't. I personally like the approach of starting treatment and seeing where it goes. A fuller smile is much more attractive than a sunken upper lip. These comments apply to adolescent orthodontics. Adult orthodontic cases must be approached differently.
