Thumb injury

My daughter fell and her scooter landed on her thumb it went very swollen and she was unable to move it straight after it so took her to a&e and they did a X-ray the doctor then said everything looks fine apart from one bit but he didn't think it was anything to worry about and sent us home now 5 days later she is still in pain, still a little swollen and can still hardly move it but when she does try to move it it's now making a clicking sound. Should I be worried?
