Q: What got you into this specific medical field?
A: Since I was young, I always had an interest in the health care field. During high school, I had an opportunity to work in my father's office (which is now my office). Working there made me realize that giving people straight teeth, and more importantly making them happy, is something that I wanted to do for a living.

Q: What landed you in your city, and what is it that you like about the neighborhood?
A: I grew up in the area and went to high school about 5 minutes from my office. I always loved the area and never thought about practicing anywhere else.

Q: Where did you receive your undergraduate and professional degrees, and did you participate in any residencies?
A: I received my Bachelor of Science with Highest Honors from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and my Doctor of Dental Medicine from UMDNJ/New Jersey Dental School, graduating first in my class. I completed a residency on Orthodontics from Columbia University in New York City.

Q: Do you belong to any professional associations?
A: American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Middlesex County Dental Society (Past-President), American Association of Orthodontists, New Jersey Association of Orthodontists

Q: What year did you begin practicing?
A: 2001

Q: What investments in your practice equipment and facilities have you made?
A: Since I have been in practice the whole office has been renovated. We have added new dental chairs, a new computer system, and a digital x-ray system that exposes all of our patients to less radiation than conventional x-rays.

Q: What procedures do you feel your practice excels in above others?
A: Invisalign. I have been selected as an Invisalign Premier Provider for the past 5 years, which shows an advanced level of Invisalign experience.

Q: What are your office hours?
A: Monday 12pm - 8pm (Dinner 5 - 5:40pm)
Tuesday 9am - 6pm (Lunch 12 - 1:30pm)
Thursday 9am - 6pm (Lunch 12 - 1pm)
Friday 7:30am - 2pm
Saturday 9am - 2pm

Q: What HMO or PPO providers are you in network with? Do you offer financing?
A: We participate with most PPO plans and a couple of DHMO plans (Aetna HMO and Cigna DHMO).  We offer no-interest, in-office financing, as well as third-party financing through CareCredit.

Q: Do you accept any government programs or discount cards?
A: No

Q: What are the most challenging parts of your everyday practice?
A: When patients (mostly adolescents) do not cooperate or follow instructions it can be very challenging.

Q: What are the best moments that make it worthwhile?
A: Seeing a patient smile for the first time after they finish treatment. The look on their face after having their braces removed, and seeing their teeth for the first time, is priceless.
