Expanders

I got expanders yesterday, and they have been rubbing into the inside of my cheek. On my right side, there is a bump and a cut. Is there anyway to make them heal. Also, to prevent this should I put a cloth? Is there any other ways I can prevent it?

You can put some wax on the area that is rubbing. You will need to do this for a few days and then your cheek should heal. If this does not allow for healing in 7 days, I would consult with your orthodontist and have them look at the area and make recommendations.
