Severe pain in neck stiffness and numbness occurs

3 months ago I was cleaning and I sprayed cleaner in the bathtub and forgot about it. Later on that evening I went to take a shower and turned the water on in the bathtub. When I stepped in the bathtub I immediately slipped and fell and hit my right side of neck extremely hard I laid in the bathtub for about 20-30 minutes before getting out. Im suffering from neck pain so badly and the pain starts from the lower part of my neck and works it way up to the top of neck causing headaches and numbness.

As with a trauma like this, starting with an x-ray or CT scan to rule in or out more serious problems. An evaluation to see what your ranges of motion are would follow, as long as that motion isn't contraindicated by the x-ray or CT scan. Should the scans show no serious problems or contraindications to manual therapy, i would suggest a course of chiropractic care that would help to restore function and relieve the pain you are in.
