Practicing since 1991
"My son Josh had his first eye appointment. He is 9 years old. Dr. Sepich took the time to explain to him everything she was doing. She was excellent answering all his questions. She explained to him why he may have had a poor reading at the pediatricians and why he did so well on the exam. She told him all about the dilation process and what she was doing. He said it was one of his favorite doctor visits ever!"
"I have an unstable cornea plus an astigmatism which makes it difficult to get a prescription that works for me. This was my first visit to Dr. Sepich and it was amazing. She took her time, listened to my concerns and provided me with the best eye sight I have had in two years. I have tried other doctors in the area, but they all relied on computers. Dr. Sepich took the time to work with me to ensure that I left with the right prescription for my eyes. "

I am sorry to hear about your accident and possible epilepsy. I would still have a concern about the MRI. If you were told not to have the MRI there may have been concern that the metal had entered the eye. To be sure I would want to check the records from the eye doctors you saw at the time of your injury and also have a current dilated eye exam. If you do still have metal in your eye, and you have the MRI, it may cause the metal to move and cause serious injury. Discuss this with your current eye doctor and your neurologist. Make sure you see an eye doctor that will dilate your eyes and review previous records. Good Luck.
