Make sure someone has evaluated you for a possible low cortisol level. You might also request an immune evaluation that would include testing for IgG protection (titers) against 14 or 23 serotypes of a bacterial called strptococcus pneumoniae. If these antibodies are low (<70% below 1.3 mg/dl), administering a vaccine called pneumovax may correct this issue and help keep you healthy. If S. pneumo. antibodies are found to be low and a pneumovax is given, repeat immune testing after one month is advised and should also include a measurement of IgG, IgM and IgA levels.
