I only wish I had come to Dr. Hyde years ago....he is by far the best dentist I have seen. My parents have been seeing him for years and I now regret it took me so long to switch.

His care is top notch--my initial exam included a check for oral cancer and periodontal mapping of my gums. (things my last dental exams did not include! Oh, and my last dentist never examined or cleaned my teeth - he passed me off to a hygienist!)

Dr. Hyde has an easy manner and a great sense of humor which makes a visit to his office quite enjoyable. Scared of needles? Dr. Hyde is your guy - he uses a nifty acupressure technique which alleviates pain and discomfort.  I've had fillings replaced by Dr. Hyde and a root canal for which he constructed a temporary and permanent crown. His attention to detail is outstanding. He takes pride in his work and it shows. I can't say enough about Dr. Hyde....he's the best.......

Dr. Hyde's billing practices are questionable at best and unethical at worst.  This gent is corrupt. The quality of his work is not in question.  His push to upgrade patients to services they do not need and his billing of actual work performed raises the question to what extent he has been investigated by the American Dental Association (ada.org/~/media/ADA/Abou…)

By far the best cosmetic dentist you will EVER visit EVER. My first trip to them started out when some bad dental work from soviet era dentistry. We have worked on my porcelain veneers and some other small adjustments. Words cannot begin to describe how ridiculously impressed and happy I am with his dentistry, it's very much like an art and an artist concept. I'm proud to smile and know that my teeth esthetic and medical condition is at its absolute best! That is the reason I'm impressed with his work and I'm not an easy person to please. If you need periodontal work done, or just need to find a dentist, I highly recommend Hyde. You will be beyond impressed!!!!!!

Dr. Hyde is a very informative and intelligent dentist. At times, when he's scraping your teeth clean, it can seem like information overload when he's trying to impart a lot of information and asking you questions, but you certainly can't accuse him of missing anything. I had faithfully gone to the same dentist for almost my entire life until moving to New York, and Dr. Hyde was able to make some observations the other dentist never made. He doesn't sugarcoat things, which can be a positive and a negative. A negative when you suspect he might be going overboard in the amount of dental care he says you need, but a positive because the net effect is you end up taking better care of your teeth.

He is also understanding when it comes to patients seeking dentistry on a budget, and as Sarena P. mentioned, he does have a great sense of humor. It's a rare thing when anyone in the medical profession can make you laugh. For me, I really appreciate having a trustworthy dentist just a couple blocks from my apartment. The biggest downside to his practice is that if you schedule an appointment on a Saturday, if other patients end up cancelling, your appointment will likely be bumped to an earlier time than you wanted (if you're like me and don't enjoy waking up at 8am on a Saturday) or perhaps even cancelled (which happened to me just this last weekend).

I have been going to Dr. Hyde for the past 2 years and can't say enough good things about him! I first went to see him for chronic complicated dental problems that hadn't been completely addressed by other dentists, and to say the least, I didn't have much to smile about. Dr. Hyde helped me resolve those problems by educating me about better oral care, and coming up with a long-term treatment plan that would get me back on track. I have had extractions and implants at this office and all of the treatments have been pain-free and very successful. He and his staff are very caring and professional, and take the anxiety out of a visit to the dentist. Dr. Hyde will go the extra mile to find the most suitable treatment for your situation, and he has great professional contacts that will contribute unique expertise to your care, if needed. His fees are more than fair, and the outcome is priceless!

Awesome dentist! Reeally funny. First dentist in my 30 year life I was not afraid to go to and actually looked for ward to. He has his own technique for injections where it doesn't hurt that he teaches at NYU he said.

Fear of dentist all my life. Not anymore... will never go anywhere else. They earned a sixth and seventh star easily.... even the shot for the Novocaine was TOTALLY painless.
