    "Another great visit to Dr Judd's office. Dr Judd spends quality time understanding any concerns I have with my oral health. His staff are professional and courteous, and they put me at ease with their demeanor and attention to details. Bonus...they have some of the best selections of K-cup coffee for those in the waiting room....or to reward me for my visit."

Permanent Retainers

I got my braces off and my doctor put a permanent retainer on the top front row of my teeth. I use to have a gap which was caused by thumb sucking but I don't think I need a permanent retainer.

Teeth will move throughout the rest of your life. It is not just the front teeth but your whole dentition changes over time to adjust for wear and attrition. I personally think you should keep the retainer the treating doctor prescribed unless it is causing other problems. You might ask about other types of retention if you are having other issues.
