I currently take 10mg of Ritalin twice a day for my hypersomnia but I still find myself falling asleep. Any suggestions?

You need to get the reason for your hypersomnia. Missed hypothyroidism is good bet because of how poorly it is diagnosed by most physicians, even endocrinologists. If you've had thyroid testing and will send me the results (and their 'normal ranges'), I can tell you whether you have underactive thyroid function or not. Hypersomnia certainly means you need less - or No - Xanax, which you should get off anyway as it is habit-forming, causing more problems for you.
