Welcome to our practice. We are honored you are considering our services. What makes us different from the other therapists in Denver? Let's separate the professionals who use the term therapist. Anyone can call themselves a therapist but only a person can call themselves a psychologist if he/she has a doctorate in counseling/psychology from an accredited university and pass the national and state exam. I don't mean to sound snobish but therapist with a BA or MA Degree do not have the education of a psychologist. Secondly, how important is professional experience? Do you want to be the professionals first client? I would want one to have a minimum of five to ten years experience in the same city. We have over 30 years experience!

More important is the philosophy and personality of the psychologist. Some believe you need treatment for years to feel better. We don't. We think we can help most people in 10 to 20 sessions. We believe in tailored therapy approach to your specific issue or problem. One size does not fit everybody. We always attempt to apply the latest scientific principles and not "faith based" programs like AA.

If you are not convinced we offer the best psychological services at an affordable rate,
we will offer you a complimentary 20-30 minutes introductory meeting.

Dr. John "Jack" McInroy

There are various psychological ways of assessing if you have any brain damage; to mention a couple: QEEG is a computer assessment of the firing of the brain. The ultimate gold standard test is a SPECT Scan which is a nuclear scanning of the brain measuring blood profusion. I doubt you would need this but now you have the information. My suggestion is that you consult a behavioral psychologist who treats phobias and he/she may use EMDR or TFT to resolve the problem quickly.
