Gursel SAHIN"I've had Tethered Cord surgeory by Dr. Kornel about 22 years ago. I had no chance to have that operation in Turkey by that time. It was nightmare for me to travel long distances by bus or even by airplane. Backpain was my daily routine.
Dr. Kornel performed very succesfull operation at White Plains hospital. All of my complaints are gone by that time.

"I have been fortunate to meet with Dr Kornel due to a consrtuction accident that occured in 2010 . Upon my first meeting with him he explained to me in great detail the injuries that my spine had suffered and went into great detail what my options would be to live a relatively normal life again. I was never preasured into having a surgical proceedure to rectify my problems. Nor did i at anytime feel presured into making any decisions about surgery while in his office. He spent as much time with me and my wife discussing all possible scenarios that might bring me relief to my excruciating pain. As for his medical background i think you will have a tough time finding any other neurosurgeon who is as skillful and compasionate about his work and patients. This man has truly been blessed by god not only with his surgical abilities but with his ability to be copmassionate towards all his patients . Unfortunately it took a misfortunate accident to meet this truly unbelievable human being. If you or anyone is in need of a neurosurgeon I would highly recommend him. As for his office staff I cannot begin to explain how helpful and compasionate they all are. Always ready and willing to help make a stressful situation bearable. "
