Office Message

Advanced Psychological Associates and Wellness Center is public transportation and handicapped accessible.

Our practice style is goal oriented using cognitive behavioral skills, hypnosis, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and biofeedback to decrease problematic symptoms and behaviors, enhance and improve all types of relationships, and/or change underlying dysfunctional beliefs, while promoting permanent change. We also understand and work with all types of stresses and anxieties.

Hypnosis may be used to help stop addictions and undesirable behaviors.

We specialize in working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, adjustment disorders, anxiety, marriage/couples counseling, family therapy, Attention Deficit Hyper-activity Disorder, parenting issues, panic disorders, Bipolar disorder, phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Domestic Violence. We work with parents and children with autism and many other complications. We also work with child-adolescent and divorce complications.

We work with clients of all ages, genders, denominations, and ethnicities.

The initial visit will consist of an evaluation designed to help familiarize us with the needs of each individual.

My hours are from noon to 9 PM most days.

Deborah Seffinger was awarded her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology by working her way through school and raising her, now adult children. Dr. Debb draws on her lifelong interest in healthful living to encourage participants to cease such destructive habits such as smoking, alcohol and drug abuse, and physical and emotional abuse by emphasizing the connection between such habits and subsequent out of control behaviors. Surprisingly to most, many of her clients, although initially resistant, come to appreciate what they learn during their time with her. Dr Debb promotes the motto Be the Best You Can Be as a motto to live by. This follows her patients throughout the rest of their lives.

foggy

I am in my mid 20s and my mind has been feeling fuzzy for months. I feel knots on the top of my neck where my head meets my neck. and when i push them out i feel slight relief for a few minutes but continue to feel fuzzy and foggy all day even with plenty of sleep. i can also feel my nerve (i think) going up my head to a small bump on the top of my head (this pump is probably a centimeter wide and round and has not gone away in about a hear...maybe a mole). I'm not on new medications
