Recently i started experiencing bad breath or what can be called mouth odor

Halitosis can be due to a variety of sources including sinusitis, periodontitis of the mouth, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, and undigested carbohydrates in the intestine fermenting due to dysbiosis and maldigestion. A careful history can point to the source. Intestinal dysbiosis is tested with a three hour hydrogen breath test after ingestion of lactulose 10g. Dental exam and ENT exam can also be quite useful.
