Dr. Bon H. Cho L.Ac., Ph.D. Office Information

Your symptoms can be described in Eastern Medicine as problems in liver, gallbladder, pancreas(spleen)

1. Symptoms can be attributed to liver channel dysfunction, qi stagnation, blood deficiency, yin deficiency. Other associated symptoms are easily angered, bitter taste in the mouth, taking a deep breath as in sighing, vertigo, digestive dysfunction, fatigue especially in the afternoon, and severe stress.

2. Symptoms can be attributed to gallbladder channel dysfunction. Other associated symptoms can be anxiety, restless, easily frightful, easily scared, insomnia, and migraine headache.

3. Symptoms can be attributed to pancreas (spleen) channel dysfunction. Other associated symptoms are flank pain, sensation of something heavy hanging down in the chest, back pain, worry, anxiety, digestive dysfunction, abdominal bloating, diarrhea, edema, fatigue, and four limb weakness.

In Eastern Medicine, your symptoms are mostly addressed by treating liver, gallbladder, or pancreas (spleen). Most of the times it is a combination of liver and gallbladder, or liver, gallbladder and pancreas (spleen) together. It this case patients complain of digestive dysfunction, esophageal, large intestine, rectum and colon symptoms as well.
I have seen clinically that above mentioned symptoms usually originate from improper exercise, poor posture, accidents, or lifting/moving heavy objects leading to pain. These symptoms usually resolve within 1-2 months. If no improvement or slow recovery then it requires a more detailed examination.
