Hi there,

Having seen this a lot as a chiropractor, I would suggest seeking chiropractic care and look for someone who uses Cox Flexion-Distraction or just any flexion-distraction technique. This technique has been shown tor reduce intra-discal pressure by up to 200%. This gaps the vertebrae allowing the disc protrusion/herniation to potentially slide back in. Taking the pressure and inflammation of the nerve. This also allows the muscles to relax in the area, offering a lot of relief at the first visit. Other things to help include, non steroidal anti-inflammatory's, ginger supplementation (as it acts the same way as prescription anti-inflammatory's), magnesium, or worst case scenario spinal injections for pain and inflammation control.
Hope this helps!
