Removal of the clips can be done minimally invasively but is not without risk as previously described. I agree that you need to see and allergist to be certain that any of your symptoms would be related to the clips. Given your complaints, I would be more concerned that you may have a bile duct injury. Did you have evidence of Gilbert's syndrome before your gall bladder was removed?
