Do I need to take out impacted wisdom teeth?

It depends on many different factors. If you are young and healthy, it would be best to extract the teeth to prevent complication in the future. If you are older and had no problems with impacted wisdom teeth, then you should not extract. It is more difficult for older patients to have wisdom teeth extracted because the bone is harder and extra bone must be removed. If the impacted teeth are very close to the root of the 2nd molar (the tooth in front of the impacted wisdom teeth) it may cause root decay, so It should be extracted.
I recommend seeing a dentists. X-rays will be needed to evaluate the impacted wisdom teeth.
