Q: What got you into this specific medical field?
A: I shared a love of art and science with a close family friend growing up, who happened to be a dentist. Over time, he became a mentor and a large reason that I chose dentistry as a profession. My wife (Dr. CamTu Pham, DDS) and I practice dentistry together and enjoy helping our patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.
Q: What landed you in your city, and what is it that you like about the neighborhood?
A: My wife and I both grew up in southern California, and decided to establish our dental practice in South Orange County for a number of reasons. Our area has an abundance of families and the local schools are excellent, making it a great place to raise our children. We also enjoy the proximity to area beaches, mountains, and the abundant activities that are available in Orange County.

A: University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry

A: American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society
Q: What year did you begin practicing?
A: 2003
Q: What investments in your practice equipment and facilities have you made?
A: CEREC: A CAD/CAM system that allows us to fabricate crowns and other restorations in one-visit without temporaries.
DIGITAL X-RAYS: Significantly less radiation and the ability to instantaneously view radiographs makes this a great tool for diagnosis and patient education.
INVISALIGN: We are able to straighten our patients' teeth without braces.
6 MONTH SMILES ORTHODONTICS: We have invested in a system of short-term-orthodontics to correct most cosmetic tooth alignment issues in about 6 months.
INTRA-ORAL CAMERAS: We utilize digital cameras to photograph your teeth and explain treatment recommendations and dental conditions because "a picture is worth a thousand words."
COMPUTERS: Our state-of-the-art office is networked with computers in each room so patients can view their x-rays and photos.
Q: What procedures do you feel your practice excels in above others?
A: We take great pride in the relationships that we build with our patients. As a husband-and-wife dental team, we provide small town service in a high tech office.
Q: What are the best moments that make it worthwhile?
A: The best moment is transforming someone who has been afraid or embarrassed of their smile into someone who is confident and proud of their smile. A great smile can change someone's whole personality.
Q: What are your office hours?
A: We are open Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Every other Monday we are open from 10am-7pm. We are flexible with our lunch hour so that we can accommodate people who want to come to the office during their lunch.
Q: What HMO or PPO providers are you in-network with? Do you offer financing?
A: We are able to bill any PPO dental insurance. We are in-network with Delta Premier, Cigna, MetLife, Aetna, United Concordia, Assurant, Principal Life, Guardian, and DenteMax PPOs. We are not contracted with any HMO plans.
