It would be helpful to know if you are on any type of hormonal birth control. It is not highly unusual to miss a menstrual cycle while using birth control or not. Assuming no other medical problems, I would check a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. You may need to see your doctor if the pain continues, worsens or if the pregnancy test is positive.
