"I was skeptical about how effective the therapy would be but I did everything they instructed and now I am a believer!! I used to leak when I exercised and especially when I ran! I have been active my entire life and I want to continue to be active for my children. Thanks to Better Bladder Center I am able to sleep through the entire night without getting up and I am running again!! I would recommend this to anyone that is dealing with this problem! When I was 40 I entered a hospital with chronic low back pain, could only crawl. I walked out of the hospital after having a shot of Morphine. The doctor said I needed to have my uterus taken out. I laughed at him. Now I am scheduled to have a vaginal hysterectomy because after having 4 sons I have a prolapsed uterus with continued and getting worse, low back pain. How are these two connected and what will happen after the hysterectomy. Also I tested positive for being menopausal now.

Its nit a common symptom of prolapse uterus, but it is listed in the books. I have also had patients say their pain resolved after a hysterectomy for prolapsed uterus.

There is a band of tissue that connects the uterus to the sacrum (lower back). It's called the uterosacral ligament. The stretch pulls on the sacrum causing pain.
