"I had been looking for an orthodontist to straighten my very crooked teeth and overbite for a while. Most dentists I saw turned me away and said that Invisalign won't work for me, but being a professional, I really didn't want to have braces again - even clear braces would have been showing somewhat. I found Dr. Ashouri's office through a good friend who had great things to say about the office.
It turns out there are different levels of training and expertise with Invisalign, and Dr. Ashouri is within the top 5% of Invisalign braces providers. She has lots of experience and training. She assured me that my teeth can be aligned with Invisalign and then she did it! My teeth look great and feel great. I recommend their office to ANYONE without reservations for anyone who needs braces or Invisalign. I must say that not only am I happy with my teeth and my smile, I always loved going to their office since everyone is always so friendly and pleasant, and they always have fun contests and decorations. You actually feel GREAT when going to their office. How many dental offices can you say that about? :)"
"Before I went to Dr. Ashouri, I was about to get lingual braces because other Orthodontists had said no to Invisalign for my teeth. After learning about her from a friend, I thought I would try one more time; as the thought of lingual braces was very unappealing. Dr Ashouri was the answer to my prayers! She did what others said can't be done with Invisalign!! My teeth look great and I am very happy.
There are so many reasons to go see Dr. Ashouri - She is within the top 5% of Invisalign providers in the entire country! A few of my friends have driven all the way from Sacramento to see her. The staff at the office are extremely friendly and make the whole process very smooth and comfortable. I've seen adults AND children in her office. They always have fun contests and the office is fabulously decorated according to the season. What more could you ask for?

"I just got back from my orthodontist five minutes ago!!! She is GREAT. She was highly recommended to me and I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER as well. She is super nice and caring. She is patient and answers all questions in a wonderful way that I can understand, and have it sink in. She is BRILLIANT; young and really "on top" of the orthodontic field. She teaches up at UC San Francisco, so she really stays abreast of all the newest orthodontic procedures, etc. I just received my Invisalign today and I think I'm going to be really happy with it. I went to 3 other orthos in the area and did not feel comfortable with any of them (just the way they answered my questions, etc.). One of them really FREAKED me out (he rubbed my leg!) and I would never want my daughters to go to him (although I hear he's a fantastic ortho and many people go to him). I have 2 daughters who will start ortho with Dr. Ashouri soon (they still have quite a few baby teeth to lose!). My eldest, who is 13, saw her last year, and will go again this year for another consultation. There is no pressure and she seems so honest (not pushy or in any rush). And she is sooooooo calm. My daughters really like her and her office as well. My hubby got a retainer from her (his original one broke after many years), and my son (who's 7) will probably need braces one day, too... she will be our best friend for life (and she could be yours ;->) :->. In any case, I cannot say enough good things about her. Oh, her staff seems very good too! SO SWEET. I also LOVE the way they decorate their office (and change it for the seasons). VK"

please place orthodontic wax on the expander. Your orthodontist must have given you some. in a few days your mouth will get used to it.
