You need to go right back to your dentist for another evaluation. possibly could be that its not seated right or the crown is seated right on the nerve which will require a root canal.. He has to take a periapical x-ray to determine if the crown is seated correctly and also to determine that the nerve is not reacting. I hope this will help out.
