I have had neck and back pain consistently for the past 4 years, the pain starts in between my head and neck. It starts as a tingling pain the goes into my lower shoulder blade. When it gets worse it feels like shocks are going through my back, and then I get a burning sensation. My left side of my back seems to have less feeling than before. I also have joint pain problems (ankles,knees,hips,wrists). What kind of doctor would be best to treat this kind of problem?

4 years is a long time no doubt to put up with such pain as you describe , since age 16! Chronic pain specialists, chiropractic, acupuncturists come to my mind for you to consult with. Hope you find better health!
