Dr. Andrew Frankel is exceptionally well trained with respect to nasal surgery. He is board certified in both Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (Ear Nose and Throat). He is native of Chicago where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from University of Illinois, Abraham Lincoln school of Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Frankel completed a five year Otolaryngology residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary specializing in surgery of the head and neck where he graduated.
During this time he won several awards for original research and he performed a original research regarding the vasculature to the nose and how it is affected by rhinoplasty. A significant portion of Dr. Frankel’s training was focused on repairing noses injured from trauma as well as cancer. Following residency, Dr. Frankel completed an additional one-year fellowship specializing exclusively in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the auspices of the American Academy of Facial Plastic And Reconstructive Surgery.

While maintaining a busy practice at the Lasky Clinic, Dr. Frankel has remained active in clinic research. He has authored numerous publications and book chapters, and he has also participated in several FDA research trails.
