Certainly - the chip may appear minor, however, best to have a dental professional provide a focused exam and x-ray. Catching any damage early can be helpful and then of course having an annual exam checking the overall condition of the full mouth is important to monitor the damage as well as continue preventative maintenance of the full mouth.
