bruised face and cheekbone

I fell 8 days ago and landed on left side of face. Cheekbone swelled up quickly with a big lump. I was x-rayed and nothing was broken. Had black eye and swelling all the way down into my neck. Still a slight discoloring under my eye and blue down side of my neck. Now I still have a lump and soreness on my cheekbone, but now that is blue and wasn't before. Is this nornal?
