4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Stomach problems

Stomach over the past year as I started college has caused me great trouble. It has come to the point where I sit in the bathroom for up to an hour, pressing on it and it releases some gurgling sounds. Without doing so at least to ease the noises, my stomach randomly makes noises throughout the day. What could it be?

The gurgling sounds are nothing to be concerned about, but they tell me that your digestion could be improved. Sometimes stress of college, eating bad foods, breakups, too much alcohol or other stresses can produce these symptoms. Be sure you are taking a quality probiotic, like Culturelle, available at the drug stores, as this can help digestion. Be sure to drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water daily to keep things moving. Try taking ground flax seeds, 2 TBSP daily. I know they are not the tastiest, but you can put it in orange juice like Metamucil.

Intestinal noises are known as borborygmii. Most of the time it does not represent a disease or medical disorder. It is simply the intestine or colon working. Imagine a 30 foot long pipe, and you will hear the same thing as you pour water down one end. If you are not having any pain or discomfort, try adding some fiber to your diet, and a probiotic containing 15-20 billion colonies, once daily. If you are having discomfort, see your doctor.
