4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Strange "ball" type lump behind belly button??

A few days ago I noticed I had this pain in my stomach. I noticed it throughout the first day whenever I would bend over or touch my stomach, near my belly button there was a dull pain. Later that night, i pressed the area around my belly button & just slightly above it, I noticed something that felt like a ball under the skin. I was a little worried, but decided not to freak out. Well it's now day 4 of this weird pain & now there is discharge from my belly button.. That's never a good sign!!

Without the discharge from your belly button, this would have been a simple supraumbelical hernia. But now I am thinking of a cyst with sinus, connected or unconnected to the peritoneal space (space enclosed by the inner lining of the abdomen). You are going to have to add a pict ure or show this lump to a doctor for a definitive diagnosis.
incarcerated umbilical hernia is the most likely diagnosis, check with your surgeon

This is likely a small umbilical hernia which would require immediate attention if it became very painful.Stop touching, rubbing, or manipulating it.Show your Doc the next time you are seen.If it does become extremely painful lasting hours,go to the nearest Emergency Room.At that point,if it is strangulated, you will need emergency surgery.
