4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Impulse control can come from various causes. ADHD , bi-polar disorder, poor parenting meaning that your parents may not have disciplined your inappropriate behavior when you were very young so you may never have learned good self control. Without knowing what your " impulsiveness " entails, we cannot offer any advice other than to out a medical or psychological evaluation soon. There may also be some neurological conditions that result in poor impulse control .good luck

Impulse control is an important part of life. Deciding "I should do this," or I should NOT do this," is a function of the front of our brains. I am just wondering if you have problems concentrating and absorbing what you read, or do you have to re-read and re-read. Do you do well in school? Or did you not do so well because you just couldn't get it? What you do want to do next in your life? Are you planning what you want to do next? These are a few questions, I would ask you if we were in a session. then I would probably suggest doing a "brain map" (QEEG), to see how your brain is actually performing, electrically. You might need a "tune up" which is done with "automatic conditioning" and it is fun.

Many people have thoughts and feelings that they are not comfortable with. However, if your thoughts and feelings seem to be in control of your life and are creating problems, it might be time to seek the help of a psychologist trained to deal with emotional disturbances. Be sure to take a list of all medications you are on both prescribed and over the counter as well as any street drugs, and or alcohol consumption. Many times our unhealthy behaviors can be linked to drugs or alcohol consumption. Getting a physical check up in advance is a good idea as a hormonal imbalance or physical problem could also be the cause and treating the physical first is always recommended. Dr. Phyllis and Rev. It's always important to make sure you're physically healthy so seeing your family physician is the place to start. Then see a psychiatrist - there are many medications as well as psychotherapy methods to help manage your impulses. Best of luck and don't wait.

In the unlikely event this has an organic basis you should first see your family physician particularly if you have not had a physical examination recently. Then a referral to a psychiatrist (preferable) or psychologist can be made. There are a variety of psychotherapeutic treatments available. There are even pharmacological agents that can be employed in extreme or treatment resistant patients. Good luck

Having trouble with impulses and finding it difficult to manage your life can either have a biological basis, a psychological basis, or a combination of the two. It would be helpful to get a thorough physical examination. There may be an underlying illness, or a neurological basis for your concerns. Psychotherapy may also help with learning to control yourself, to make good decisions, and to get along with others. I recommend that you make consult with a medical doctor and with a mental health professional to find the best course for you.

You have answered your question by recognizing your brhavior may be rooted in psychological origins. Getting into treatment with a mental health professional is a good start.

Yes, I can help. The problems that you are having are common and sometimes the solutions are simple. In my practice, I hear behavior problems complaints coming from your age group every day. I can not help you without knowing more information about you and the circumstances in your life. I need to know some history about your life. Typically anger is the cause but not always. Either way, more information is needed to find solutions. Some example of questions I would ask you; do you have friends or family support? What kind of trouble are you having? Have you had a head injury? Any alcohol or drug intake? Do you have medical problems or illness? Alternatively, any history of abuse or neglect, break up in relationships and many more questions. If your behavior is causing enough distress and disruption in your life for you to seek advice here, then I recommend you seek professional help soon. This common problem gets worse and consequences become harsh. You have my contact information as a referral if you need it. I would be glad to help you find solutions.
definitely you need a Psychiatric evaluation to get a diagnosis and a recommendation for treatment
