I am 34 years old born with transposition of the great arteries. I have had a mustard procedure and the left and right side of my heart are reversed. I take 20mg of lisinopril once a day. Recently I had a sever prostate infection from some supplements I was taking. This was 3 months ago I have taken antibiotics and cleared the infection. All testosterone tests came back normal. Still no libido and erectile function.

The loss of libido and loss of erectile function associated with loss of energy may be indicative of low testosterone level. Other factors may play a role. You will need to see a urologist and have your testosterone level checked among other things.

First, while your prostate symptoms may have been related to supplements you were taking, they were not due to an infection, as the supplements would not have had anything to do with bacteria in the prostate. Your loss of libido and energy may be due to testosterone insufficiency. The best thing for you would be to have your testosterone level checked.
