4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Do you have a primary care physician ? I suggest going to a Internist or Family Practice physician ASAP. You have diabetes but more importantly sugar levels of >250 suggest that you have been diabetic for much longer than you think. Diabetes is diagnosed when you have a fasting sugar of >126 or a random sugar check of >200 on two occasions. Your symptoms of blurry vision suggest how uncontrolled your diabetes is currently. You need a complete workup including blood check for blood count, electrolytes panel(which will include liver and kidney function), thyroid disease, fasting cholesterol profile and vitamin levels. Besides your diabetes, you need to know if you have other medical problems such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol etc to better manage you overall care and help improve your risk for heart disease and cardiovascular events such as a stroke. You will absolutely need to change your diet and add exercise as medications alone WILL NOT improve your risk for a cardiovascular event. If you are overweight, working towards your ideal body weight will be top priority. Try to find a physician you will work with you to improve your cardiovascular risk and not just give you medications to "numb up the numbers". You are too young to have such a chronic disease like diabetes be on board for the next 40 years of your life. Hope this helps.
This is serious! Important that you seek medical attention immediately with such high lab values. Once you get traditional Medicine care to get your lab ranges into non-emergency values, switch to a Functional Medicine Practitioner. learn about Functional Medicine here: http://orangeparkchiropractor.com/new-patients/functional-medicine.html

Your blood sugar is at a level that is considered in the diabetic range. You should see your primary care physician to set up a blood panel. These results will give your doctor a lot of information. Ask the PCP to include a thyroid workup. Checking these levels are important. While thyroid disease is more prevalent in women, it also effects men and is known to cause fluctuation in your vision. Follow that with a comprehensive dilated exam by your eye doctor. PS 40 years old, lots of computer. Reading glasses may be in your NEAR future.

With blood sugar levels in the range you have it is time for a check-up with your primary care physician. It is likely that you have diabetes but some tests will be needed to make a final decision. After your blood sugar levels have been addressed you should schedule for eye examination.

OH NO!... this is pretty typical of Diabetic patients, not all conditions will have all symptoms all the time. Definitely the 250+ Blood Sugar is an issue and that can cause fluctuations in Vision. I would get your eyes evaluated with a dilation and also schedule an appointment with your primary care physician.

This is definitely diabetes and you need to schedule an appointment with your primary care physician. Specific blood work should be run such as a fasting CBC, CMP, H-A1C, CRP, ESR, and Vit D3...all important markers for diagnosing and managing chronic inflammatory disorders.

After blood work has been gathered, you need to focus on dietary and exercise changes to create a better lifestyle. You doctor may need to place you on medication as well until you can get your life style under control to balance your blood sugar throughout the day.

If your sugars are over 250 you have diabetes . Although you can and should deal with this through diet and exercise you should see a doctor and get a full set of labs and get directed to information that you need to manage this problem. Untreated diabetes can lead to blindness , kidney failure etc, You need a doctor to partner with you for best management of this problem.
Levels of 250-320 are abnormally high, but these numbers vary depending on the time of day and the meal content you just had previously. Ask your physician about the Hemoglobin A1C level which reflects more accurately the true blood sugar level over the past 2-3 months. Hemoglobin A1C levels over 6.5 % are considered diabetic.

Wish you the best.
