4 Reasons Why Ask DoctorBase is the Most Efficient Way to SEO and Establish Your Brand Online

  1. Ask DoctorBase is a free service for patients on the DoctorBase platform - currently servicing over 6 million American patients of record.
  2. All answers submitted by healthcare professionals (you) are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute doctor-patient relationships. All patients must agree to this before using Ask DoctorBase.
  3. Our software and our Marketing Engineering staff review each answer and optimize your answers for keywords valuable to your specialty. It is a well kept secret that doctors (you) - not SEO consultants - are the ones who have the most valuable content prized by search engines. Ask DoctorBase "unlocks and optimizes" your content in the most efficient manner possible with today's technology.
  4. Finally, the doctor who provides the most popular answer - "the Featured Answer," gets an added benefit by allowing patients to write rave reviews about your expertise - reviews that are submitted to both Google and Google Local through our Preferred Data Provider relationship.

Ask Dr. Molly if you have questions or want a personal session on how to best use Ask DoctorBase for maximum marketing impact.

Try to think back to when it first started. What was going on in your life? Were you working overtime? Were there any toxic chemicals in your work environment that you could have been exposed to? Were you traveling outside of the country? Did you have any health problems back then? Did you get a vaccine? What was your diet like? Did you lose your job or get a divorce? Asking these questions can provide valuable clues that can help you and/or your doctor figure out what's wrong.

Sometimes chronic fatigue can start with a bad flu or viral infection that doesn't completely heal. For some, it has to do with having a bacterial infection and taking antibiotics and ending up with Candida problems. There's help for that. For others, it can be related to an emotional event such as a divorce or death of a loved one. There's help for this, too.

A diet high in refined foods, and especially sugar can cause fatigue. Being overweight can also be very fatiguing. Having poor digestion can cause people to feel fatigued - sometimes so much that just eating lunch can make them feel very drowsy. Or it could be a combination of some of these things.

I do think it's a good idea to get some basic bloodwork and urinalysis if you have not already. This way, you can find out if you have a thyroid imbalance, diabetes, a parasite, heart problem, high blood pressure, a chronic infection, anemia or other physical cause to explain the fatigue. Whether the tests are positive or negative, there's a lot you can do. You can do a lot with your diet, including leaving out the processed foods and incorporating supplements, herbs, superfoods and whole foods, doing cleanses, healing yourself with energy healing and using trauma-releasing techniques.
Labs test to check EBV viral titers, Lyme disease, Mycoplasma, other chronic inflammatory states must be performed. Nutritional deficiencies must be ruled out and heavy metal toxiicities. If all negative then B vitamins and gluthathione, phosphatylcholine Iv can help with chronic fatigue.

Assuming your medical work up is negative (which is often the case). Consider:

1. Detox diet for 10 days (such as the Master Cleanse, or fruit juice only diet).

2. Anti-parasitic herbal treatment such as food grade diatameacous earth (1 tablespoon dissolved in a glass of water once daily for 1 week) or a black walnut/wormwood/clove tinctures taken together.

3. Consider changing your living environment if you live in a city or at least get out and enjoy daily doses of nature. Surround yourself by strong, wild nature for 1-2 hours at a time. Be meditative at these times soaking up the surroundings.

4. Make sure you are doing positive work and associate with positive people. Negative people literally suck your energy away.

I agree with many of the answers below with the most important being getting to the root of the problem in order to understand the best treatment protocol, starting with a thorough history, comprehensive blood panel, and Adrenal Stress Index. In order to keep costs manageable further testing, and treatment, should be evaluated off of the initial work up.

Make sure you do not have Lyme disease, make sure there are no vitamin B or other micronutrient deficiencies. Check thyroid including reverse T3. Check adrenals by 24 hr saliva. Test for heavy metal toxicity. Rule out food sensitivities. Rule out sleep apnea. Once the cause is found, treatment including targeted vitamins and minerals can be given.

Yes, lots to do. Problem is related to environmental exposures to toxins, adrenal fatigue, viral infections, specific foods, etc. You will do best with a knowledgeable physician who can help you address these issues.

Did you get any blood work looking at DHEA, AM and PM cortisol levels? Also, looking at hormones, and thyroid??

Looking at vitamin deficiencies. What are you currently doing about it now?

If you were my patient I may put on you on some glandulars, I would probably look to see if there is anything going on with your thyroid or any gut issues going on like bacterial overgrowth in the small intestines.

I guess I would need more detail before I would know what to say or advise.
I would need more of an evaluation. Have you had mono? Epstein Bar Virus?

Do you get cold easily, constipation, dry skin, weight problems, use of antibiotics?

Everything can be remedied. The body needs nutrients to repair and heal and all disease begins in the gut.
